We call our programs paths because every individual is unique and has opportunities to choose which of our seven paths best suits their individual needs. They choose their path and we help them along.
FLiP focuses on teaching the basis components of financial stewardship and sound investing. Courses on banking, credit, budgeting, identity protection, insurance and financial planning will be available to all age groups but more importantly low- and moderate- income individuals and families
Pathways will make available information, training, resources and advise individuals with a desire to start or expand a legitimate small business in their home communities or online. Courses will be offered on business planning, marketing, financial statement preparation and analysis, tax and payroll issues. Workforce preparedness for adults will also be addressed under EnDep as paths provide opportunities that match entrepreneurs and/or individuals with entrepreneurial aspirations with peers seeking job training.
Pathways offers programs designed to increase homeownership among low- to moderate- income families with courses offered on the home buying process, home maintenance, consumer rights and consumer responsibilities.
Professionals, such as attorney, realtors, mortgage originators, home inspectors, and insurance agents will present information on major areas that impact buying and maintaining a home.
E2E is a youth centered path that will cover a vast number of areas impacting young people. Technology training, citizenship, workforce preparedness, entrepreneurship, college preparation/alternatives, sex/sexuality, physical and drug abuse prevention and parenting are a number of educational offerings offered on the E2E path. E2E will also offer transition training and support to youth exiting foster care and/or criminal justice systems inside or outside of a group home setting.
The WIP concentrates on the needsn and concerns of women in the areas of womens health, domestic violence education, work/life balancing, child care and parenting single.
The needs of elder citizens in the service areas are address by programs sponsored under ECAP. Transportation, nutrition and fitness, cleaning services, elder day care and socialization will be the main thrusts of programs that fall under ECAP.
HeAP will develop programs that shed light on sicknesses and diseases that typically go undetected in impoverished communities and disproportionately affect minorities - men, women and children. Mental health awareness is also highlighted in programs that fall under HeAP.
